Turdus is Latin and means in Finnish a thrush, my surname. My name is Hannu Rastas and I come from Kemi, Northern Finland. Making wobblers is my hobby, and I make approximaterly 500 pieces a year. First years I spent mainly on learning and trying out my own models. Many of the current models were created already during those first years - today they are found in a bit modified and improved form. Currently there are seven wobbler models in production. Colour maps exist - however, as anyone making lures knows, colours change all the time. Old ones are no longer produced, new ones are created. Models T1, T2, T3 and T7 are meant mainly for salmon rowing, and model T6 for salmon spinning. |
Model T4
is for pike and smallest model T5 for rainbow trouts, perch and trouts.
The newest models in production are Norway
series
aimed at Norway fish waters.
I also make and sell old style wobblers. I tend to call them "therapy lures" - imagination flies when creating them.
